Now thru 5/12 – Safe Sober Site

Cast Your Vote is Support of a Safe Sober Site in Rochester

Now through May 12

The Rochester Police Department is partnering with the D&C’s Unite Rochester and several other local organizations to win a $100,000 grant in support of a Safe Sober Site in the city. The facility would provide a location for officers to guide people who are high on opioids or other substances, so they can sober up safely and be offered treatment without arrest. But, the grant requires the community to vote for the idea – every day from now through May 12. Go to to find out more about the project and cast your votes in support of it.
