PLOT: A
famous author comes face-to-face with America's most notorious
terrorist. One has a story to write, the other has a story
to tell. As the clock ticks on death row, a strange bond
grows between the two men. Filled with clever sparring and
raw emotion, this is a taut drama that touches on the
definitions of freedom and the need for love.
ABOUT THE CAST:
Terrance Brennan (James Breevort) and James Heath (Harrison)
are both making their BWT debuts. Mr. Brennan has acted,
directed and taught throughout Rochester for more than
thirty years. Among the companies at which Mr. Brennan has
worked are Rochester Children's Theater, the Jewish
Community Center's Centerstage, Shakespeare Players,
Downstairs Cabaret Theater and Blackfriars Theatre. From
1971 to 1985, Mr. Brennan was the co-founder and director of
the summer theater program of the Greece Performing Arts
Society, which produced four musicals a year. A retired
drama teacher from School of the Arts, Mr. Brennan has also
done extensive work in film, television and radio. Mr.
Heath has appeared in Rochester theatres for over a decade
with his most memorable roles including the title character
in William Shakespeare's Hamletas
well as Orlando in As
You Like It. Both productions were presented at the
Highland Bowl as part of the annual Shakespeare in the Park
productions. Mr. Heath has also been featured in a number
of films produced in and around the Rochester area.
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR: Marcy
Gamzon has directed several productions for Shipping Dock
Theatre (The Magic Fire, Exits
and Entrances, Vita
and Virginia), Blackfriars Theatre (Cat on a Hot Tin
Roof, A
Midsummer's Night Dream), Shakespeare Players (Richard
III, Tempest, Much
Ado About Nothing), JCC, RAPA, Rochester Children's
Theatre and the University of Rochester Summer Theatre. A
former Equity stage manager, Ms. Gamzon has worked for GeVa
Theatre, Long Wharf Theatre, and the Carolina Regional
Theatre. She has a BFA in Directing from Carnegie-Mellon
University and an MA in English Literature from the
University of Rochester. Ms. Gamzon currently teaches
creative writing and English at School of the Arts.

2pm.
