Swallowwort Saturday – Sept. 10th 9:AM

Good Day Happy Friends of Washington Grove;

Our second Swallwwort Saturday is this Saturday – we will continue to pull the invasive Black Swallowwort plants out of the ground in the Grove.  Some are going to seed, so some additional picking and disposing of the seed pods will also be done. (see attached drawing)

No need for tools, maybe bring your own favorite gardening gloves. But we will have extras too.  We meet up at the kiosk off Reservoir Drive at the top of the Grove at 9:00 AM. We may work till noon but feel free to stay all long as you’d like, or less if you have other fish to fry later in the morning.

See You all there for this fun and exciting morning of invasive species removal to make way for additional herbaceous layer planting to come. My cell # is 585-290-9912 for additional info or day of logistics.
