    • New Life Presbyterian Church is a member of the Presbytery of Genesee Valley, in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and has been in ministry in the Upper Monroe Neighborhood for over 100 years.

     

  • Neighborhood Associations:

    • South East Area Coalition (SEAC) For over thirty years, the has helped maintain the southeast quadrant of the City of Rochester, NY as a fine place to work, live and play. Our experienced and professional staff is committed to helping individuals, groups, and businesses solve problems related to housing, crime, human services and other neighborhood or quality of life conditions. SEAC is a not-for-profit organization funded by the United Way, the State of New York, City of Rochester, private contributors and the membership of people like you.
    • Corn Hill Neighbors Association The Corn Hill web site is maintained by the Corn Hill Neighbors Association as a communications medium for neighbors and friends.
    • NENA NENA is the NorthEast Neighborhood Alliance, an initiative committed to revitalization of Northeast Rochester through citizen empowerment and ownership. The NENA plans and coordinates development projects in the Upper Falls, South Marketview Heights and North Marketview neighborhoods, and serves as the NBN Sector 10 planning committee.
    • Maplewood Neighborhood Association  Maplewood is a community in the northwest section of Rochester, NY (Sector 2 of the Neighbors Building Neighborhoods initiative). Our neighborhood is dotted with impressive homes that are showcased by the annual Home Tour. The lovely Maplewood Park (famous for its roses) and the beautiful gorge of the Genesee is the backdrop for the popular Maplewood Rose Festival in June. Explore our site.     • Baden Street Settlement of Rochester, New York Baden Street Settlement, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization serving people living in northeast Rochester, NY working to improve families, education and health and reducing crime and violence.

        COBB'S HILL PARK
      • Rochester, NY, Cobbs Hill Reservoir, Walking Tour Cobbs Hill Reservoir is a manmade circular lake located on top of a hill in Cobbs Hill Park. A paved walking path surrounds the reservoir which is protected by a metal fence. A road circles the reservoir. Parking is allowed on the eastern and northeastern sides of the park. Although you may see numerous cars parked on the west side, they are parked illegally and may be ticketed.
      • Cobb's Hill Park In New York City, Central Park has a sort of island effect. The birds drop out of the sky after a long night of migration, and all they see is buildings. They head for the green stuff - Central Park. In Rochester, Cobbs Hill Park benefits, to a lesser extent, from the same phenomenon.
